Widely recognized as a preeminent thought leader in digital therapeutics, Ed joins EVERSANA from Dthera Sciences, where as its CEO, he earned the FDA's Breakthrough Device designation for a digital therapeutic to treat the behavioral symptoms of Alzheimer's disease. His pioneering work in this field has led him to serve in highly visible roles at numerous digital therapeutic and digital medicine events throughout the world, including DTx-Science (Bordeaux, France), LSX World Congress (London, UK), CNS Summit (Boca Raton, FL), DTx West (San Mateo, CA), and Evercore Healthcare Conference (Boston, MA). Ed championed digital medicines as chair of the first digital therapeutics conferences in the industry – DTxDM (San Jose, CA) and DTx East (Boston, MA), as well as the inaugural DTx Europe (London, UK).
With a background in executive leadership across numerous industries including digital health, pharma and biotech, technology, investment banking, and public markets, he is uniquely positioned to lead digital medicine and strategic alliance initiatives in this rapidly expanding sector. He excels at finding creative and asymmetric pathways to drive success and is adept at corporate development and these skills have enabled him to build high profile strategic partnerships. Ed holds a Master's of Science in Management from Warrington College of Business Administration at the University of Florida and a bachelor's degree in telecommunications the University of Florida.
Chief Data Officer
Derek Danois serves as the Chief Data Officer for GE Healthcare. He leads the development and execution of a comprehensive business strategy for the technological & business efforts related to the acquisition, use and management of datasets for Artificial Intelligence applications and various product development efforts from around the globe. During his 7 years with GEHC, he has held various executive leadership roles across the Imaging, Digital, and consulting business units.
Mr. Danois has extensive experience in the business operations and technology enablers required to effectively deliver patient care across multiple global delivery models. He has 20 years of healthcare, technology and global management experience; across multiple providers, payer and technology organizations.
Prior to joining GE, Derek was a Senior Partner at Accenture in their IT Strategy & Transformation practice where he was the Global Industry Lead for the Medical Imaging and Medical Equipment Technology Practice. In this role he led multinational engagements for clients in the healthcare, telecommunications, Life Science and Med-Tech industries.

He is driven by an unwavering commitment to the company vision of helping improve the health and lives of patients through high-quality products.
Rusty joined Upsher-Smith in 2014 after five years with United Healthcare and 20 years with Ameriprise Financial, where he held senior executive sales, marketing and general management positions.
Rusty is also a member of the company's Board of Directors, along with senior executives from Sawai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., which acquired Upsher-Smith in 2017.
Rusty holds a B.A. in Economics from Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts.

With the tenacity and resolve of a patient looking for a better solution, she set out to create a better model, which now forms the basis for JLABS' operational infrastructure. Prior to starting Prescience, Melinda held posts across a variety of functional areas with a global corporation, Nortel Networks, in locations such as Research Triangle Park, New York, Toronto, London, Hong Kong and Beijing before arriving in San Francisco. She also initiated, raised capital and secured large corporate deals for several companies in both the life science and technology space. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan in Canada and a MBA from INSEAD in France. Melinda is an active board member and Treasurer of the California Life Sciences Association (CLSA).
