President and Chief Executive Officer
Andre Turenne has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Voyager Therapeutics, a leader in gene therapy for severe neurological diseases, since July 2018. Andre is passionate about the power of collaboration in drug development.
Prior to joining Voyager, Andre was Senior Vice President and Global Head of Business Development & Licensing at Sanofi. In that role, he oversaw all partnering activities company-wide. During his twelve years at Genzyme and Sanofi, he also held leadership roles in strategy and commercial operations, established the alliance management function within Genzyme and served as country General Manager in Australia and New Zealand. Earlier in his career, Andre worked as a strategy consultant.
Andre holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a BA from Kalamazoo College.
